The evolution of the goals of punishment in the criminal law of the Russian Federation
Book Chapter
Development of the Russian socio-economic system: challenges and prospects- Authors:
- Alla S. Sizova, Eduard R. Babushkin

- Глава 7
- Abstract:
- The chapter discusses the main goals of punishment in the Russian Federation, their significance and correlation with the principles of criminal law, as well as their role in shaping probation policy and further socialization. The article examines the changing goals of criminal punishment in the process of the formation of the Russian state: starting with the first written sources of Ancient Russia, ending with the period of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union, with an analysis of the distinctive features and reasons for the adoption of these goals. Purpose: to conduct a historical analysis of the goals of criminal punishment, to identify the tasks they solve, to substantiate the goals in the context of the external environment, to identify common features and situations, as well as to substantiate the current goals of criminal punishment. To focus on a simplified understanding of the purpose in the form of retribution and punishment and their relationship with the aim of correcting the offender and positive consequences for the state and society. Methods: a systematic approach, historical and logical methods, analysis and synthesis, deduction, induction are used. Results: it is noted that for modern purposes of criminal punishment, retribution is practically not mentioned and is losing importance, giving way to the correction of the offender and his re-socialization. Correction and re-socialization are considered as key goals that contribute to reducing the rate of crime. If there is a real correction, the historical purpose of retribution loses its relevance and does not violate the principles of criminal law. Conclusions: over time, the concept of crime has softened, which has led to a change in the main objectives of punishment. Currently, after the adoption of the Probation Law, the focus is shifting from retribution to the correction of the convict and his re-socialization. The question of the relationship between retribution and the restoration of social justice remains the subject of scientific debate. One of the goals of probation and re-socialization is to reduce the level of recurrence of crimes. The effective use of this mechanism, combined with compliance with the principles of criminal law, contributes to the seduction of the individual without an emphasis on revenge against the criminal.

- Abstract:
- The work is devoted to the practical implementation of the Pareto principle in the process of language training of students of non-linguistic specialties of the university. Due to the organization of the learning process on the basis of the course, which is based on the 80/20 rule, attention is focused on the direct perception of information, a conscious approach of students to their learning activities, the perception of educational activities as an imitation modeling of a real language environment, readiness for full and productive communication in a foreign language, taking into account its cultural characteristics are formed. Important advantages of the developed course are the focus on the practical use of the language, the acquisition of useful experience of communication with native speakers. The knowledge gained through this method becomes a valuable asset and helps to cope with any communicative tasks in a foreign language. The conducted experimental work has confirmed that students whose learning process was organized on the basis of the Pareto principle achieve significant results in learning a foreign language faster than with traditional teaching methods.

Research Article
Development of education Volume 8 No 1- Authors:

- Work direction:
- Psychology in Education
- Abstract:
- The article studies the actual aspects of improving the system of psychological and pedagogical support in modern educational institutions, where the growth of anxiety, stress and professional burnout is one of the key problems. The main objective of the study is to develop a scientifically grounded model of support, taking into account both the individual characteristics of the participants of the educational process and the potential of modern technologies to improve the effectiveness of the educational environment. To achieve the set goals, the methods of metaprogram analysis, standard diagnostic tools (Spielberger-Hanin scale to assess anxiety and Maslach-Jackson questionnaire to analyze professional burnout) were applied, and digital platforms of psychological support were integrated. The study covered more than 500 participants of the educational process from municipal schools of Yekaterinburg. The key results demonstrate a significant reduction in students' anxiety level by 15% and an increase in their academic performance by 12% (p < 0.01), which confirms the high effectiveness of personalized educational routes based on metaprogram analysis. The obtained data are of high practical significance and can be used to create a universal model of support adapted to the modern conditions of educational institutions.

Individual Educational Trajectories in Russian Universities: The Essence and Problems of Their Implementation in Modern Conditions
Book Chapter
Modern Challenges of Education and Psychology of Personality Formation- Author:
- Aleksandr A. Kiselev

- Глава 2
- Abstract:
- Currently, university teachers have many questions about the introduction of individual educational trajectories (IET) into the educational process of universities. Unfortunately, the introduction of such educational technologies is often interpreted by researchers without a proper understanding of the principles and foundations of pedagogy, such as from simple to complex, individual approach to learning, etc. All this is due to the fact that most often the development of the introduction of IET in universities is carried out by people who do not have a professional pedagogical education or at least sufficient experience in professional pedagogical activity in universities, or even in general, who simply seek to make money on it. As a result, the introduction of individual educational trajectories turns into a process of far-fetched provisions that are incomprehensible to teachers and have nothing to do with the development of higher education, and, accordingly, are not perceived by the teaching staff of universities. At the same time, the necessary technical and software for the implementation of IOT is often missing. And this gives rise to numerous problems in the development of domestic higher education in modern conditions and negatively affects the increase in its effectiveness. This article attempts to deal with the essence and problems of the implementation of IET in universities from the standpoint of pedagogy and practical pedagogical experience.

Improving the content of education, the use of new educational technologies, the development of various types of educational institutions, innovative processes in them require modernization of the pedagogical monitoring system. In this regard, the problem of monitoring the quality of education is one of the most relevant in the theory and practice of modern school management. The feasibility of solving this problem is actualized by the development of educational standards of a new generation, criteria and indicators of the quality of education, focused on competence, activities for the organization of educational processes.

Psychological and Pedagogical Issues of Modern Education- Author:

- Abstract:
- The paper considers the methodology of individualization of training based on adaptive testing of network electronic educational and methodological complexes in two closely interrelated levels – the methodology of designing, developing adaptive tools and the methodology of their application in teaching university students. The design of an adaptive network electronic educational and methodological complex – a universal educational resource that is able to support the learning process at all its stages-contains three consecutive stages (levels) – didactic, logical and physical, each of which has a content component of the developer's activity that determines the requirements for the structure and content of the created course. The methodological approaches to the use of an adaptive network course in the educational process are different for teachers and students. As criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of learning content assimilation in the information and communication educational environment of the university, the following are defined: transient process time response, which a student spends for learning of fixed stream of input information until prepared for the testing (E.A. Solodova's adaptive learning mathematical model); the level of assimilation of the information received, defined in tests and evaluated in a 100-point scale (as the condition of completeness of the educational process, according to V.P. Bespalko).
