  • Revival of Cultural Traditions of Katsky Stan on the Pages of Regional Publication "Katsky Chronicle”

    Abstract:
    It is outlined that in the era of globalization, one of the key features of which is unification, there is a real danger of the disappearance of cultures of small ethnic groups. As a result, it becomes important to preserve and restore knowledge about their culture, customs and traditions. One of the bright projects dedicated to this topic is the “Katsky project”, the main translator of ideas of which is the area publication “Katsky chronicle”. The purpose of the research is to study the culture of the Katsky stan and ways of its revival. Hypothesis. In the course of the research, it was suggested that the journal “Katsky chronicle” is a way to revive and preserve the culture of the Katsky people. Methods of research. The research was carried out with the help of theoretic and empiric methods, the main method is the study of the historiographic database, which was compiled by the issues of the journal “Katsky chronicle” for the period from 1992 to 2017. The study of the journal's issues was conducted by analyzing the structure, content, sections, and language specifics of the journal (from the standpoint of semantics, phonetics, word formation, etc.). Results of research. The results confirmed the reflection of Katsky culture on the pages of the journal “Katsky chronicle”: the authors of the articles used specific dialect katsky language which is a fundamental component of ethno-cultural identity of the Katsky people. Along with the language, the journal demonstrates folklore, publishes historical information about the Katsky stan and its inhabitants, symbols, specifics of the way of life and housekeeping, customs and traditions. The results also confirmed that in the era of globalization, in an atmosphere of universal similarity and uniformity, there are examples of preserving the uniqueness and ethno-cultural identity of communities of people in their places of local residence.

  • Visual Semiotics of Inequality in the Structure of an Architectural Text

    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to the consideration of the architectural environment as a form of materialization of social existence. It is noted that the architectural text of a large city contains special subject and spatial inclusions – loci of power. The article focuses on the relations of topological segregation – the disproportionate distribution of structural elements in the space of a populated place. This is a set of obstacles in choosing a place, and at the same time a condition for the formation of a social hierarchy of urban spaces. Methods. In the course of the work, the problem and thematic, structural and functional and comparative and historical methods to identify basic concepts of architectural spaces of power were applied. Results. It is shown that social inequality and topological segregation occur in the city in a “natural” way, since it embodies various facets of inequality inherent in society. The typology of constantly reproducible principles of organization of architectural objects and spaces of power such as monumentality, static character, conciseness, verticality, hierarchy, the presence of a central structure, tradition, consistency, syncretism is clarified. It is shown that the emerging signs of inequality, embodied in architectural and urban planning decisions, participate in the formation of the social structure, reproduce and transform its value and semantic content. The basic principles of the organization of architectural objects and spaces of power are considered. Models for implementing these principles in the process of creating new loci of power are proposed. It is concluded that the hypothesis put forward by the authors that loci of power are the spatial embodiment of complex mechanisms for maintaining the dynamic balance of the social system is confirmed by the results of research on the semiotics of inequality in the structure of the architectural text.

    Статья посвящена технологии «Экологическое управление ливневыми стоками или Low Impact Desing – LID», которая впервые появилась в США и на протяжении 40 лет внедрялась в Великобритании, Австралии, Финляндии, Норвегии, Швеции и др. странах. Технология предполагает создание дождевых садов, которые располагаются на территории города, перехватывают загрязнённые дождевые потоки и потоки талых вод, фильтруют их на своей территории через свободный грунт, фиторемедиационно очищают за счёт высаженных растений, в результате чего предотвращается подтопление городских территорий и очищенные сточные воды поступают в водные источники или достигают грунтовых вод. Кроме этого, городские пространства в значительной степени эстетически обогащаются вследствие создания ландшафтных биоразнообразных композиций.

  • Toponymic Area of the Moksha-Mordovian Blagodarovka Village of Borsky District of the Samara Region

    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the toponymic area of the Moksha-Mordovian Blagodarovka village of the Borsky district of the Samara region. The aim of the article is an introduction into scientific discourse and the etymological analysis of toponymic vocabulary of the Blagodarovka village and its outskirts. The methods of the article are based on the principles of toponymic researches formulated in the works of leading Russian onomasticians. The article is based on the author's experience. As a result of the researches, the main characteristics and dialect belonging of the Blagodarovsky dialect of the Moksha-Mordovian language were determined, the geographical terminology existing in it was fixed, and the toponymic vocabulary was collected and analyzed. It is concluded that Blagodarovsky dialect of the Moksha-Mordovian language, despite a relatively short period of existence in the Russian environment with separation from other Mordovian language areas, is one of the most Russified Mordovian dialects of the Samara Volga region. A number of geographical names of the toponymic area of Blagodarovka find identical or close parallels in most other Moksha-Mordovian and Erzya-Mordovian toponymic areas of the region. The natural and geographical settlement conditions of native Blagodarovsky dialect speakers of the Moksha-Mordovian language as in the case of other Mordovian dialects of the Samara Volga region had a significant impact on the composition and semantics of the geographical terminology that exists in it.

Рассмотрены различные подходы к данной проблеме и предложено собственное, оригинальное определение предмета социологии как науки и учебной дисциплины. Такое определение предмета социологии позволило автору включить в него ряд аспектов, которые зачастую де-факто реализуются в научной и педагогической деятельности, но остаются имплицитными, теоретически не артикулированными, слабо тематизированными. Это позволило также предложить некоторые новые подходы к структурированию социологического знания.

    Abstract:
    The ecology of a new Persian continuum culture, represented in two hypostases-states: the Iranian discourse and the Iranian dispositif is examined in the work. The Iranian discourse is considered on the basis of the introduction to the English translation of «Shahnameh» by Firdausi, composed and published by Arthur George and Edmond Warner in the early twentieth century. The Iranian dispositif is studied on the material of the Iranian media at the beginning of the twenty first century. The methodological basis of the work is the hermeneutical method, the phenomenological approach, and the linguistic topology. The structural units of analysis are linguoecological variables, or existentials, represented by text examples. The analysis makes it possible to draw conclusions about the ontological dimension of the Iranian discourse and the strategic imperative of the Iranian dispositif, determined by the ontological security of the Iranian society and the institutional culture of the Shanghai cooperation organization.

    В статье анализируются исследования Ольги Алексеевны Яковлевой (1908–1995), посвященные истории материальной культуры России XVI–XVII вв. Основной вклад ученого в отечественную историографию связан с обнаружением ею новой рукописи «Пискаревский летописец», которую она подготовила к публикации с обширными комментариями. Дочь ученика В.О. Ключевского Алексея Ивановича Яковлева (1878–1951), она была известна среди научной общественности исследованием особенно «тонких», «ювелирных» тем, содержащих «крупицы интересных сведений». Это статьи об одежде, ювелирных украшениях, конной сбруе, аптекарском деле, особенностях книгопечатания и других сторонах материальной культуры и повседневной жизни XVI–XVII вв. За консультациями по вопросам материальной культуры к ней обращались известные отечественные ученые.

    В статье представлен анализ пейзажных единиц поэмы С.Н. Сергеева-Ценского «Лесная топь» (1906 г.) и их значения в экспликации идейно-тематического содержания произведения. Делаются выводы о ключевой роли в поэме текстовых единиц со значением «топь» и «лес», их символичности, образности, своеобразии художественного воплощения. Констатируется, что пейзажные единицы, репрезентирующие сквозной образ-символ лесной топи, имплицитно транслируют тему неравного противостояния человека и макрокосмоса, личности и социальной «трясины», способной как духовно, так и физически погубить человека. В исследовании использованы методы и приемы лингвистического анализа художественного текста.

    The article deals with theoretical and legal issues related to the mechanisms of national security. The study shows that in order to ensure national security, it is necessary to take into account its constituent elements. One such element is energy security. Ensuring energy security should be implemented at the local, regional and Federal levels, taking into account the constitutional rights of citizens to a favorable environment, the prevention of environmental and man-made disasters, the rational use of natural resources. The author proposes to apply new approaches to the regulation of this type of relations, taking into account the systematization of normative legal acts in force in the Russian Federation, for the most effective solution of environmental and legal problems of energy security in Russia.

    The article is devoted to the problem of studying the history of origin, form change, etymology of the names of various geographical objects in the city of Cheboksary. The thesis is substantiated that, due to the change in the ethnic composition of the settlement, some part of geographic objects change their names, some remain unchanged, and some retaining some basis, begin to combine the specifics of several languages in onyms. On the basis of the reviewed materials on toponymy of the city of Cheboksary, the thesis is affirmed that onyms on the territory of the city of Cheboksary were formed on the basis of three ethno-linguistic sources: Turkic, Chuvash, Mari, and Russian.

    Abstract:
    The article shows the image of Heracles – the greatest hero of ancient Greece – in early Russian art, as well as in the writings of chroniclers, scholars and enlighteners of the 10–19th centuries. It is established that throughout the history of Ancient Rus and then of Russia, Hercules was perceived with an exceptionally positive side, despite the pagan roots of his image. Condemnation occasionally was the fact of his deification by the Greeks and Romans. The image of Heracles was positively adopted by the Orthodox Church, which relied on the Byzantine doctrine, where Heracles was also viewed as a charitable fighter of monsters and a defender of people from evil. As a result or research it was revealed that Heracles had exceptional popularity in Russian art and literature, where he performed in a classical Hellenistic manner. He remained the standard of physical strength, human power and at the same time – a model of nobility, the ruler of the twelve great labours. The article contains materials from the author's monograph with the working title «Twelve of Labours of Heracles in ancient literature and numismatics».

    The article considers the etymology of the toponym Shigali. the spread of chuvash names of settlements as the chuvashes move from the lower reaches of the Volga to the Wild Field. Borrowed elements in the Chuvash language from Arabic, Mari languages are fixed. The identification of a number of historical data on the basis of archival sources allows us to consider the historical and etymological branch of the prevalence of the Shigali oikonym in different lexical variations and phonetic variants. Materials on toponymy of the Chuvash region from the point of view of different scientists are also considered. The key goal of the study, which is described in this article, is simple - to "read" the history of native land in the language of toponymy is very interesting. Everyone reads it as far as possible – who as a simple man, who as a scientific. To understand it correctly, a complex historical analysis and classification of toponyms is needed. The language of our native land is rich and eloquent and a person who can read toponymy, it can tell infinitely many interesting things.
