    Abstract:
    The article examines horse riding, a traditional martial art of the nomadic peoples of the Great Steppe, which has gone through a centuries–old path to modern sports. Special attention is paid to the causes and mechanisms of the revival of horse riding in modern Russia since 2005. The author reveals the multifaceted potential of horse riding as a tool for patriotic education and socialization of young people: strengthening physical health; familiarization with Cossack culture and historical traditions; development of teamwork skills, responsibility and quick decision-making; the formation of empathy and skills of interaction with a living being. It is concluded that riding is not only a sports field, but also an effective mechanism for preserving cultural heritage, transferring national traditions and forming vital competencies among the younger generation.

    Abstract:
    The relevance of this study is substantiated by the high social and personal significance of sports and patriotic education and insufficient development of this topic. The definition of the cognitive component as it applies to sports and patriotic education of adolescents is given. The chapter demonstrates the importance of this component as a basis for the formation of motivational and value attitudes in students. The results of a diagnostic study of the level of patriotic qualities in adolescents related to the cognitive component are presented. A range of topics that can form the content of the cognitive component of sports and patriotic education has been determined; the main forms of education and training corresponding to these topics have been selected. It is clarified that, taken in isolation, the indexes reflecting the development of patriotic qualities in an individual based on the cognitive component are insufficient for determining the overall level of patriotism and should be supplemented by data obtained through testing the level of patriotic qualities based on axiological and activity-based criteria.

    The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the International Football Tournament in memory of the Kutyrev brothers as an effective model of socio-cultural integration. The organizational and managerial aspects of holding an international event in the conditions of a small city are considered. Particular attention is paid to the study of the educational and educational potential of the tournament, the analysis of the mechanisms of intercultural communication between participants from different countries and regions. The effectiveness of sport as a tool of "soft power" in strengthening interethnic dialogue and social cohesion is proven.     In today's rapidly evolving technological landscape, the concept of «smart homes» has evolved beyond mere appliance control. Automation systems like «KNX» offer new opportunities for enhancing comfort, safety, and efficiency in daily life. In an era where health, productivity, and energy conservation are of utmost importance, integrating «smart» technologies into sports programs and daily routines has become increasingly relevant. This research aims to explore the potential of automation systems in supporting athletes' training and recovery processes, potentially improving their functional performance and physical readiness. The purpose of the work is to analyze the impact of the Smart Home system on the physical condition of athletes during physical training. The research objectives included: studying automation systems and their theoretical foundations; analyzing popular digital protocols; evaluating the impact of Smart Home systems on household processes in indoor environments; identifying the level of awareness among students about the concept of an «intelligent home»; and determining the nature of the influence of automated electronic systems on the training process and recovery of athletes. The object of the study is the Smart Home automation systems and their application in everyday life. The subject of the study is the impact of automation systems on the optimization of the training process, recovery, health, and safety of athletes. The hypothesis was formulated: the use of Smart Home automation systems, such as KNX, will improve the training process, accelerate the recovery of athletes, reduce the risk of injuries, and increase the energy efficiency of sports facilities. The following methods were used in the research process: analysis of literary and Internet sources; sociological survey; programming and configuration based on «ETS» for «KNX»; analysis and generalization of the results obtained. The results obtained confirmed the possibility and expediency of introducing the electronic system «Smart House» in the process of physical and sports training. When preparing the chapter of the collective monograph, the results of the scientific and creative activity of the author of this work were used together with the graduate of the Krasnodar branch of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, A.E. Bondarenko, who carried out the completion and configuration of computer programs of the automated system «Smart House» [2].

    Abstract:
    The chapter discusses the issues of improving balance skills and balancing in group acrobatics. An analysis of specialized literature on the biomechanical and physiological aspects of the athlete's body balance and the peculiarities of performing group balance elements has been conducted. Based on the analysis of competitive programs, pedagogical observations, and surveys of coaches in paired-group acrobatics, trends in the changing requirements for competitive programs have been identified, including an increase in the complexity of static and dynamic elements, which underlines the importance of developing stability and balancing skills. The results of pedagogical observations indicate a lack of systematization in the methodologies for developing the function of balance and balancing skills in the training process. A survey of coaches revealed disagreements regarding the significance of vestibular stability, balancing skills, and muscle strength. A reorganization of the training process has been proposed, including targeted functional training and the teaching method of the «Mexican Pyramid». The research results provide practical recommendations for coaches and athletes aimed at improving the quality of performing group balance elements and enhancing sports performance.

Special attention is paid to the outstanding records achieved by athletes, as well as modern challenges. Fire and rescue sports are considered as an important element of patriotic education, the formation of professional competencies and the strengthening of safety culture in society.

    The article examines the impact of sports in the fight against depression, analyzes the problem of the spread of mental disorders among the population, and defines the concept of depression. Statistics are analyzed and the main symptoms of this mental illness are determined. Seven psychological benefits of sports are revealed and three types of physical activity that can help in the fight against depression are identified. The results of the survey are analyzed. Recommendations for an effective fight against the symptoms of depression are formulated.

    The purpose of the study was to evaluate the content of the «goals – objectives – methods – means» of state programs of the subjects of the Russian Federation related to the transport accessibility of territories, in accordance with the requirements of the program-oriented approach. To identify the problem area, the state programs of the subjects of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District in the areas of development of the transport complex, transport system or transport infrastructure for compliance with the requirements of the main goal were taken. The SMART methodology was used to assess the compliance of government programs with the requirements of a program-oriented approach to management. The results of the SMART criteria assessment showed that the state programs adopted at the level of the subjects of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District related to the transport accessibility of territories do not fully meet the criteria presented and have a number of disadvantages.

    The paper aims to discuss the challenges and countermeasures taken in teaching traditional minority sports in higher education institutions.
