Abstract

The article examines the impact of sports in the fight against depression, analyzes the problem of the spread of mental disorders among the population, and defines the concept of depression. Statistics are analyzed and the main symptoms of this mental illness are determined. Seven psychological benefits of sports are revealed and three types of physical activity that can help in the fight against depression are identified. The results of the survey are analyzed. Recommendations for an effective fight against the symptoms of depression are formulated.
