    В статье рассматриваются основные позиции, касающиеся учебных пособий по иностранному языку: требования, предъявляемые к смысловому содержанию текстов с точки зрения соответствия образовательным и воспитательным целям, соотношение общеупотребительной, культурологической, общенаучной и специальной тематики, отражающей специфику неязыкового вуза, а также требования к соотношению материалов для развития иноязычных навыков в таких видах речевой деятельности как чтение и устная речь. В работе использовались следующие методы: критический анализ литературных источников; изучение и обобщение положительного опыта преподавания иностранных языков в неязыковом вузе, а также метод научно фиксируемого наблюдения. Авторы делают вывод, что обучение чтению является основной целью обучения и что профессионально ориентированное преподавание иностранного языка нужно начинать в неязыковом вузе с первого курса, и там, где это возможно, язык специальности и общеязыковой аспект иностранного языка, сочетаясь, должны взаимно дополнять друг друга.

В рамках проведения педагогического эксперимента было выявлено, что компонентный состав социально-профессионального потенциала можно формировать и развивать в процессе обучения иностранному языку.

    Abstract:
    Higher education is the most important factor in the country's economic development, meeting its needs for professionals trained in universities who are capable of implementing the strategy of technological leadership and making the national economy effective and competitive in the context of political and economic sanctions against Russia. Much attention is paid today by higher education authorities to organizing educational work in universities and involving students in various «activities», which is often done in universities even by removing students from classes. However, due to political and economic sanctions against Russia, the national economy is experiencing a major shortage of professional personnel, which can and should be replenished by university graduates. As a result, higher education authorities and Russian universities should currently pay special attention to the development of higher education as professional education. Unfortunately, administrative and economic methods prevail in matters of the content and organization of higher education in universities, reducing the effectiveness of the development of higher education, namely as professional education. This is due to the fact that the management of universities is forced to pay more attention to financial issues in order to optimize and reduce costs, receive (earn) money through grant activities, implement business contracts, change staffing by increasing the intensity of teachers' work, etc. The study of the situation with Russian higher education, including the method of included observation, allows us to identify problems in the field of training modern professionals in domestic universities. At the same time, the «new model» of Russian higher education, which is planned to be implemented in universities by higher education authorities in the near future, from the standpoint of its possible effectiveness raises many doubts that it will ensure the predictive development of higher education as professional education and will allow meeting the needs of the national economy in the professionals it needs. As a result, the issue of solving all the problems identified in the work, both in higher education itself and with higher education itself, becomes relevant. Based on the analysis, including the conclusions of experts and specialists in the field of higher education development, the needs of organizations for university graduates, a number of measures are proposed that allow, to a certain extent, to solve the existing problems in the area under consideration.

    The study of gender differences in the academic engagement of university students is necessary for the targeted use of various educational technologies in the educational process in higher education. In this regard, it is important to conduct a comparative analysis of the components of engagement in higher education among girls and boys. The study used the methods «Emoticons» (Gizhitsky, 2016), «Diagnostics of student learning motivation» (Badmaeva, 2004), «Scales of academic motivation» (Gordeeva, Sychev, Osin, 2014), «Self-assessment of emotional and personal well-being» (Karapetyan, Glotova, 2020), pilot author's questionnaires «Inclusiveness in learning sessions», «Academic microdeviations» and «Self-report on academic performance». 263 university students aged 16–25 (202 girls and 61 boys) took part in the study conducted by an online survey. The Mann-Whitney U-test was used in data processing. The results of the study revealed that according to the indicators of academic engagement of students, more directly related to learning, there are no gender differences, and the belonging of girls and boys to the same socio-demographic group – «studentship» comes to the fore, since the norms and requirements for higher school students do not differentiate depending on the gender of students; gender differences were found in indicators of academic engagement, which are more indirectly related to learning, since these differences are largely due to the influence of spontaneous and purposeful impacts from broader layers of society, such as family upbringing, communication in peer reference groups, the impact of mass media and the Internet, including information and psychological technologies of social engineering.

  • Professiographic monitoring as a technology for assessing the dynamics of the formation of the motivational component of the professional competence of maritime university cadets

    The study focuses on the investigation of the process of forming the motivational aspect of the professional competency of cadets at a maritime university in a blended learning environment. Given the digitalization of higher education and the specific requirements of the maritime industry, there is a need to provide a solution in response to the demands of ship owners. Employers seek to employ motivated young professionals who are not only skilled in their field but also possess a drive for professional growth. The aim of professional training is to develop competencies, while the motivational element remains unaddressed. It is essential to develop techniques that facilitate the development of this aspect. Professiographic monitoring represents a relatively underexplored technique. The objective of this study is to devise and validate the feasibility of utilizing this approach within a maritime university context. The model for the development of the motivational aspect of professional competence has been created and tested. This model defines the role and components of professiographic monitoring. Its functions have been proposed and criteria for assessing the level of motivation in professional competence have been defined. The results of the study demonstrated positive trends in the development of motivation among cadets, indicating a positive impact on their professional competence.

    В статье рассматриваются педагогические возможности внеаудиторной игровой деятельности студентов вуза как важного элемента образовательного процесса, который способствует интеграции обучения, социального воспитания и личностного развития. Автором исследуется потенциал внеаудиторной игровой активности в формировании общегуманитарной, поликультурной и профессиональной компетентности. Особое внимание уделяется дидактическим играм, которые выявлены как эффективное педагогическое средство для активизации внеаудиторной работы студентов. Автором проведен ретроанализ организации и проведения внеаудиторной игровой деятельности в период с 2017 по 2023 год, на базе международно-правового факультета Всероссийской академии внешней торговли (ВАВТ) по направлению «Международно-правовой, с углубленным изучением иностранного языка и права европейских организаций». В статье выделяются ключевые педагогические аспекты внеаудиторной игровой деятельности, среди которых познавательно-дидактический, организационно-методический и субъектно-ориентированный, способствующие социализации студентов и развитию их мотивации к самостоятельному познанию. Учет представленных аспектов позволяет рассматривать внеаудиторную игровую деятельность как значимый педагогический ресурс, который значительно обогащает образовательный процесс и способствует формированию востребованных общегуманитарных и профессиональных навыков у студентов, будущих специалистов в сфере международного права.

Важно, чтобы вузы не только передавали знания, но и формировали у студентов навыки самостоятельного мышления, анализа и критического мышления. Статья посвящена исследованию миссии воспитания в вузах в условиях информационного образования. В работе проведен обзор понятия миссии воспитания, особенностей информационного образования и его влияния на воспитательный процесс. В результате исследования выявлены тенденции и проблемы в воспитательном процессе вузов и сформулированы практические рекомендации для улучшения воспитательной работы.

    В статье приводятся результаты исследования по изучению уровня развития экологической культуры, оценке развитости экологического сознания и выявлению доминирующей установки студентов в отношении природы. Показано, что для большинства студентов характерен высокий уровень экологической образованности и экологической сознательности, и средний уровень экологической деятельности. Для студентов характерен переходный тип экологического сознания (от антропоцентрического к экоцентрическому). Доминирующим типом установки студентов в отношении природы является эстетическая установка.

    Исследование посвящено изучению академических девиаций, которые по их негативному воздействию на процесс учения студентов можно разделить на макродевиации (наркомания, алкоголизм и др. тяжелые девиации), мезодевиации (скачивание работ из Интернета, списывание, прогулы и др.) и микродевиации (общение в социальных сетях на аудиторных занятиях и др.). В работе использовались методики «Академические микродевиации» и «Включенность в учебные занятия», студентам также задавались вопросы о возрасте, курсе обучения, успеваемости за прошлые семестры и об их отношении к прогулам, списыванию и др. Онлайн-опрос проводился в Google-форме на выборке 29 студентов вузов в возрасте 17–24 лет. При обработке данных использовался корреляционный анализ (по Спирмену). Результаты исследования показали, что отношение студентов к таким академическим мезодевиациям, как пропуски занятий, скачивание работ из интернета и их покупка, списывание на экзаменах и зачетах, а также совмещение учебы с работой дали ряд достоверных корреляций с академическими микродевиациями, касающихся поведения студентов на аудиторных занятиях. Получены достоверные корреляции академических девиаций с возрастом студентов, курсом обучения, успеваемостью и самооценкой включенности в учение на лекциях и семинарских и практических занятиях.

    Оснащение педагогических вузов страны площадками для проведения профессионального (демонстрационного) экзамена повлекло за собой целый ряд проблем, разрешение которых не терпит отлагательств. Научно-педагогический состав ЯГПУ им. К.Д. Ушинского проводит работу по совершенству качества профессиональной подготовки обучающихся вуза, в том числе используя материально-технические возможности площадки демонстрационных экзаменов. В условиях отсутствия нормативной документации, чётко и однозначно регламентирующей деятельность таковых площадок, вуз развивает новое для него образовательное пространство с учётом его средовых и технических возможностей, а также кадрового потенциала.

  • The study of the relationship between the motives of learning with self-regulation and student academic performance

    The study is devoted to the analysis of the relationship between the motives of learning, measured by two methods based on different theoretical approaches, with the main regulatory processes (planning, modeling, programming, evaluation of results) and regulatory and personal properties (flexibility, independence), as well as with students' self-reports on academic performance. The study used the following methods: «Diagnostics of students' learning motivation» (Badmaeva, 2004), «Scales of academic motivation» (Gordeeva, Sychev, Osin, 2014), «Style of self-regulation of behavior – SSP-98» (Morosanova, 2000) and self-report of students on their academic performance over the past semesters. The study was conducted using an online survey in a Google form on a sample of 82 university students aged 18–29 years. Correlation analysis (according to Spearman) and factor analysis (with Varimax rotation) were used in data processing. The results of the study: multiple significant correlations of learning motives, measured by two different methods «Diagnostics of student learning motivation» and «Scales of academic motivation», with scales of the SSP-98 methodology were obtained; significant positive correlations of learning motives with self-report on academic performance allow us to analyze the types of students' activities that include learning activities, that requires the use of already developed educational technologies and the development of new ones in the educational process at the university.
