Abstract

The article deals with the outlook analysis of contemporary university modernization as a socio-cultural project. The main groups of factors, which accelerate or slow down the process are considered. Among them are: intellectual trends in interpretation of the phenomenon of the University (mainly as a post-ideological); specifics of the given trends implementation (in accordance to legitimation limitations); modern tendencies of science development (in the context of difference in dynamics between education and science); to-day circumstances of contemporary society (as intensively changing and requiring for rethinking of the epistemological university grounds).
