- Abstract:
- The work is devoted to the practical implementation of the Pareto principle in the process of language training of students of non-linguistic specialties of the university. Due to the organization of the learning process on the basis of the course, which is based on the 80/20 rule, attention is focused on the direct perception of information, a conscious approach of students to their learning activities, the perception of educational activities as an imitation modeling of a real language environment, readiness for full and productive communication in a foreign language, taking into account its cultural characteristics are formed. Important advantages of the developed course are the focus on the practical use of the language, the acquisition of useful experience of communication with native speakers. The knowledge gained through this method becomes a valuable asset and helps to cope with any communicative tasks in a foreign language. The conducted experimental work has confirmed that students whose learning process was organized on the basis of the Pareto principle achieve significant results in learning a foreign language faster than with traditional teaching methods.

- Abstract:
- The article raises the issue of teaching Russian as a foreign language to foreign citizens in Russian universities. Russian Russian as a foreign language is defined in the article, and the most common methods used in teaching Russian as a foreign language are outlined. It is emphasized that the importance of the text-based approach in teaching Russian to foreign citizens has increased recently. The important role of the text in the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language is argued. It is noted that the text-forming approach highlights the text as the main unit of learning, that working with the text contributes to the formation and development of skills of all types of speech activity (reading, writing, listening, speaking), as well as develops grammatical skills, increases learning motivation. The interpretation of the concept of "text" by modern scientists is analyzed, the role of text in the system of teaching Russian as a foreign language is determined. Much attention is paid to the study of work with scientific and professionally oriented texts, which is due to the special focus of these types of texts, which contribute to the formation of a theoretical framework of concepts, the integration of the meaning of all linguistic units, and the development of creative and cognitive abilities of foreign students. An example of complex work with professionally oriented text is given. The main types of tasks performed when working with text are systematized. It is summarized that working with the text forms general professional and universal competencies, contributes to the development of the use of professionally significant vocabulary and terminology in the process of communication.

On the issue of development of students' cognitive abilities in a modern university
Research ArticleDevelopment of education Volume 8 No 1- Authors:

- Abstract:
- Changes in the higher education system imply a reorientation of the educational process towards the formation of students' competencies aimed at the social order of society and the state. A significant role among these competencies is assigned to the development of cognitive abilities. Traditional education assumed the development of these skills through text, which is not entirely acceptable for the current generation of students who read noticeably less than their predecessors. In this regard, the purpose of this study was to select the most effective means to promote the development of memory, attention, speech, and thinking logic. The authors of the article, using the example of historical disciplines, came to the conclusion that an important tool for the development of cognitive abilities at the present stage is a workbook. It allows you to structure and expand the acquired knowledge on the subject, train various types of memory, select, critically analyze and interpret available information, monitor and self-monitor the progress of students in a particular course. The diverse format of the proposed assignments, non-standard tasks, and creative projects makes the workbook a universal tool for developing cognitive abilities and improving the effectiveness of teaching in the disciplines of natural science and humanities.

- Abstract:
- The epistolary legacy of the outstanding educator Ivan Yakovlevich Yakovlev (1848-1930) is a unique phenomenon in the culture of the Chuvash people. It expresses in a certain way the image of the multifaceted personality of I.Ya. Yakovlev, who worked tirelessly in the field of education and school education of his compatriots for more than half a century. This is evidenced by the results of scientific research by famous scientists G.N. Volkov, V.D. Dimitriev, N.G. Krasnov, G.N. Plechov, I.V. Pavlov, etc. Of particular research interest among the many letters of I. Ya. Yakovlev are lines related to the life of his own family. The study of the epistolary heritage of I. Ya. Yakovlev showed that the family was of great importance in his life. He has always sought to create and maintain an atmosphere of human relations in the family, based primarily on spiritual and moral virtues.

Peculiarities of the development of arbitrariness of mental cognitive processes in primary school children
Research ArticleDevelopment of education Volume 8 No 1- Authors:

- Abstract:
- The relevance of the study lies in understanding the development of cognitive and regulatory functions in primary school-age children, which is crucial for their adaptation to the modern socio-cultural context. Rapid changes in technology and education require the development of volitional processes such as attention, memory, planning, and self-organization, key for academic and social adaptation. The study was conducted with a sample of 60 children (ages 8-9) from the Municipal Autonomous Educational Institution Secondary School No. 31 in Ishim. Diagnostic techniques assessed various aspects of volitional functions: goal-setting, forecasting, planning, correction, flexibility, adaptability, and reflection. Methods used included "Template," "Running Goose," "Simple Instructions Test," "Circles," and others, with data analysis performed using the φ* criterion – Fisher’s angular transformation. Most children’s voluntary cognitive and regulatory functions are in an active process of formation, with their components developing unevenly. Prediction, adaptability, and mnemonic abilities develop faster and more efficiently than goal setting, planning, correction, flexibility of actions, reflection, and attentional abilities. The study confirms the need for psychological and pedagogical support to enhance volitional functions in younger schoolchildren, aiding their successful academic and social adaptation.

- Abstract:
- The period of study at a higher education institution is accompanied by significant cognitive and emotional stresses associated with academic requirements, social adaptation and professional self-determination. These factors create prerequisites for the occurrence of stressful situations and the intensification of negative mental states such as anxiety, frustration, aggressiveness and rigidity. Under conditions of chronic stress, these conditions can develop into maladaptive behaviors, reducing academic motivation and worsening students' overall mental health. The article examines the relationship between the level of emotional intelligence, previously differentiated on the basis of the analysis into three groups (high, medium and low levels), and the severity of negative mental states, including situational and personal anxiety, frustration, aggressiveness and rigidity, which made it possible to identify the features of their mutual influence in the student sample. The data allow us to conclude that the level of emotional intelligence has a moderating effect on the intensity of experiencing negative mental states among students, where a high level of emotional intelligence contributes to a decrease in the severity of all negative states studied, while a low level of emotional intelligence is associated with their intensification. It is concluded that it is necessary to include emotional intelligence development programs in the educational process in order to increase the psychological stability of students and their adaptation to learning conditions.

Cognitive component of attitude to energy saving in older preschool children and primary school children
Research ArticleDevelopment of education Volume 8 No 1- Author:

- Abstract:
- The article presents the results of a study of the cognitive component of attitudes towards energy saving among older preschoolers and younger schoolchildren. The relevance of the study is due to the unworthy attention of the education system to the issue of developing an environmental, energy-saving attitude in children, given the obvious need to form a modern person focused on rational, energy-saving behavior. The article presents the results of an empirical study based on the author's methodology to study the content of the cognitive component of attitudes towards energy saving, and describes the types of motives for energy saving in children aged 5–10 years. The levels of formation of cognitive attitudes towards energy saving are identified and described. Children have an average level of formation of the cognitive component of the attitude to energy saving. Ideas about energy saving are unclear, vague. From senior preschool to junior school age, positive dynamics in the development of the cognitive component is observed. The dominant motive for energy saving is the motive of avoiding discomfort. With age, the content of ideas about energy saving is clarified and the energy saving motive itself begins to clearly stand out. With age, motives of personal benefit give way to motives of social significance. The formation of the cognitive component of the attitude to energy saving is influenced by the attitudes of adults, as well as the content of education. Mastering school subjects that cover environmental issues, as well as developing new forms of thinking in younger students, contributes to the development of a cognitive attitude towards energy conservation.

- Abstract:
- The article studies the actual aspects of improving the system of psychological and pedagogical support in modern educational institutions, where the growth of anxiety, stress and professional burnout is one of the key problems. The main objective of the study is to develop a scientifically grounded model of support, taking into account both the individual characteristics of the participants of the educational process and the potential of modern technologies to improve the effectiveness of the educational environment. To achieve the set goals, the methods of metaprogram analysis, standard diagnostic tools (Spielberger-Hanin scale to assess anxiety and Maslach-Jackson questionnaire to analyze professional burnout) were applied, and digital platforms of psychological support were integrated. The study covered more than 500 participants of the educational process from municipal schools of Yekaterinburg. The key results demonstrate a significant reduction in students' anxiety level by 15% and an increase in their academic performance by 12% (p < 0.01), which confirms the high effectiveness of personalized educational routes based on metaprogram analysis. The obtained data are of high practical significance and can be used to create a universal model of support adapted to the modern conditions of educational institutions.

- Abstract:
- The importance of the problem under study is due to the identification of the specifics of stress resistance of students of professions in the “person-to-person” group using the example of future educational psychologists and pediatric students. The purpose of the study was to identify differences in the stress tolerance of students of helping professions, using the example of pediatric students and students of educational psychologists. The hypothesis was that the manifestations of stress tolerance among students of pedagogical psychologists and students of pediatrics are due to differences in the organization and content of professional training and the commonality of future professions in the field of "human-to-human" and aimed at interacting with children. Test methods were used for the study. The study involved 257 students of medical and pedagogical universities. Analysis of the results showed that the majority of students' level of resistance to stress is within the average range; significant differences were found in lack of time. The results of the study are useful for the development of pedagogical technologies for the professional training of stress-resistant specialists in helping professions.
