- Abstract:
- This chapter presents various ways to effectively manage time in the process of academic learning, given as a premise that it is an abstract resource, which is difficult to manage, although it has a significant impact on student life. In general, a modern person is becoming increasingly busy, feeling a gap between the number of activities he wants to complete and the ability to complete them in a timely, stress-free manner. During the process of academic learning, students face the need to rebuild their way of using time as a resource, as well as other resources associated with it, thus becoming more organized, which has an impact on the results of their activities. In the event of academic environment, as for students participating in the educational process, sources of stress are either at the academical level: people in a group with close relationships, individual teachers, group membership, competition with peers. Also, tense relationships with decision makers, who makes amendments at the level of the system, institution, various events in public life. Regarding sources of stress, they can also be found at the level of the educational activity itself: the nature of tasks, their volume, complexity, deadlines, restrictions, learning conditions, unjustified rules and habits, ambiguity of functions, student’s lack of desire to assign them. The study aims to outline several effective principles of action related to time management that could be useful for both students and educators.

- Глава 1
- Abstract:
- In today's dynamic economic environment, strategic development is becoming one of the key factors for success of an organization. However, in order to correctly substantiate and effectively implement a strategy, it is necessary to have reliable methodological approaches and provisions. The oil and gas industry is one of the areas where economic globalization, which is a key feature of global economic development, is most fully manifested. Geological, production, economic factors of the functioning of vertically integrated oil companies in their integrated meaning predetermine their presence on relevant markets. This provokes, when determining the development strategy of such companies, to take into account the features and development trends of these markets. In this regard, the development of issues related to the development of methodological approaches to the strategic development of enterprises seems to be a relevant task. Methodological provisions for substantiating and improving strategic development represent a systematized set of theoretical knowledge and practical recommendations aimed at optimal use of available resources and capabilities. They help organizations analyze external and internal factors, identify goals and development priorities, and develop mechanisms for monitoring and adjusting strategy.

Virtue and Law in Chinese Management Theory and Practice
Book ChapterVectors of socio-economic development in Russia. Modern challenges and opportunities- Author:
- Aleksandr I. Kugai
- Work direction:
- Глава 9
- Abstract:
- The chapter studies the dualistic nature of Chinese management theory, namely the coexistence of two management styles: Wang Dao and Ba Dao. Wang Dao is based on the rules of virtue, and Ba Dao is based on the rules of law. Wang Dao implies a policy of agreement, and Ba Dao implies a policy of opposing the enemy. These two management styles are inseparable and important for the functioning and development of society. It is argued that the condition for modernizing the governance system of modern China, which is in search of a golden mean between the rule of virtue and the rule of law, is a hybrid democracy that absorbs the energy of consensual and competitive democracy.

Building a rating of students in a study group in one discipline when studying in the LCMS system
Review ArticleDevelopment of education Volume 6 No 3- Author:
- Ivan A. Kalinin
- Work direction:
- Pedagogy and Modern Education
- Abstract:
- The article introduces the reader to the functionality of the Dilsi LCMS system in ranking the academic performance of students and is devoted to the problem of using digital technologies in calculating the rating. Recently, students' interest in learning has been declining. Determining the rating of students in the group contributes to solving this urgent problem. The place occupied in the rating encourages the student to get ahead of his own kind, to become a leader in this field of activity. A review of the literature on the topic showed that there is currently dissatisfaction with the current point-rating systems of universities, where ranking is difficult to determine, due to the formalism and complexity of the corresponding calculations. The analysis of the sources confirms the hypothesis about the mechanistic transfer of foreign models to our universities, without observing the principles of functioning laid down in them. The purpose of the study is to propose automation of calculating the reliable ranking of students in a group. Such research methods as a systematic approach, statistical approach, logical and structural analysis were used. As a result of the research, the author came to the conclusion that the task is effectively solved on the basis of digital data of student learning in the LCMS system.

- Abstract:
- In the framework of the study, the situational approach is considered in conjunction with systemic, process and functional scientific approaches, as the management of an institution is a process, educational institution is a form of system organization, which exists in a certain environment, has functional definiteness and goal setting. The authors define quality management of education using situational approach as a purposeful, operative and systematic process of using technologies and functions of managerial activity taking into account environmental factors, which determine the achievement of quality educational indicators. The situational approach in management implies the interrelation of five components in the management system of an educational institution, including additional education: optimality, variability, flexibility and efficiency. A structural and functional model of quality management of educational institution of additional education on the basis of situational approach was developed, which includes: resources, management process and result and ensures the development of additional education institution in an innovative mode. The model was developed on the basis of the modeling method, taking into account elements of the system approach, taking into account the relationship and application of the situational approach in management and in combination with the methodology of functional and process approaches. The quality of education in the model is presented as a goal, as a management process and as a result, with the possibilities of its achievement in the form of using internal potential of the institution (resources, conditions) and taking into account external environmental factors, as well as taking into account the specific qualities and components of effectiveness of situational approach.
