    Abstract:
    The article analyzes the main theoretical approaches to the implementation of modern technologies in opera productions. Conclusions are made about the synthetic nature of opera art, which allows searching for and implementing innovative directorial ideas. At the same time, another facet of opera is highlighted – its traditional nature, which does not allow radically transforming the original musical genres. Taking into account this contradiction, the most effective innovative technologies are substantiated, ensuring the spectacle and preservation of the cultural and historical experience of opera art.

    Electronic learning platforms are a fundamental aspect of improving the quality of education. Digital learning contributes to the individualization of the educational process, expands the availability of educational material and stimulates creative activity. The author summarizes: the use of new technologies in sports has both positive and negative sides, and requires an integrated approach to information technology management, taking into account the costs of cybersecurity, personnel training and the development of integrated information systems for effective process management in the sports industry.

    Abstract:
    The paper considers the issues of part-time students’ self-study and various ways of its organization in the terms of education modernization. The discussion concerns a reasonable application of new technologies together with traditional methods of teaching part-time students a foreign language. The aim of applying new technologies is enhancing the effectiveness of education with competence approach in marine English teaching in order to develop the competence in compliance with federal educational standards of higher education (FGOS VO) and the IMO STCW Convention (1978/95).
