    Abstract:
    В статье показано, как на основе концептуального анализа понятие «здоровье» предстает в качестве уникального междисциплинарного феномена, актуального для педагогической науки. В педагогике здоровье субъектов образования – ориентир оптимизации деятельности и повышения качества жизни. Важнейшими составляющими здоровья, как показывает теоретический анализ, являются «телесные», «ментальные», «социальные» и «духовные» компоненты. Они требуют для сбережения формирования расширенной сферы взаимодействия с учащимся, выходящими за пределы сохранности физиологических процессов, охватывающих культуру личности целиком, поэтому помимо здоровьесберегающих технологий уместно применять здоровьеразвивающие образовательные технологии.

    Abstract:
    The paper analyzes the concepts «vocational orientation» and «professional self-determination» from subject-object relations. The subjects of vocational guidance are various social institutions such as school, family, state. In the case of professional self-determination, the researcher is interested in the personality of the individual who has to solve a personally significant problem. From the author`s point of view, the cluster approach to the organization of the vocational guidance system allows to coordinate the joint actions of subjects and objects of vocational guidance to achieve the best result.

    The paper considers the issues of part-time students’ self-study and various ways of its organization in the terms of education modernization. The discussion concerns a reasonable application of new technologies together with traditional methods of teaching part-time students a foreign language. The aim of applying new technologies is enhancing the effectiveness of education with competence approach in marine English teaching in order to develop the competence in compliance with federal educational standards of higher education (FGOS VO) and the IMO STCW Convention (1978/95).

  • Cheboksary: toponymic sketches

    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to the problem of studying the history of origin, form change, etymology of the names of various geographical objects in the city of Cheboksary. The thesis is substantiated that, due to the change in the ethnic composition of the settlement, some part of geographic objects change their names, some remain unchanged, and some retaining some basis, begin to combine the specifics of several languages in onyms. On the basis of the reviewed materials on toponymy of the city of Cheboksary, the thesis is affirmed that onyms on the territory of the city of Cheboksary were formed on the basis of three ethno-linguistic sources: Turkic, Chuvash, Mari, and Russian.

  • The symbolic meaning of the forest in the German fairy-tale

    Abstract:
    This article attempts to show how the perception of the forest in the German language space was built and how it changed. It especially focuses on the symbolic interpretation of the forest, explains what some tress symbolize and shows the connection of the forest with the symbolism of the feminine. The article also deals with the perception of the forest in the works by romantic writers and provides examples from some romantic fairy-tales by the Brothers Grimm where the action takes place in the forest. It is worth mentioning that the titles of some fairy-tales by the Brothers Grimm are connected with the tree or with the forest.
