- Abstract:
- The authors note that in the context of digitalization and transnational information exchange, it is of particular importance to protect the rights of holders of exclusive rights to intellectual property results used on the Internet through recognition of rights, their state registration and fixation through non-governmental instruments, contacting the competent authorities in case of violation and applying liability measures for their violation. Based on this, the authors conclude that effective protection of intellectual property on the Internet requires not only the integrated application of existing national mechanisms, but also coordinated international legal efforts aimed at overcoming jurisdictional barriers, balancing the interests of copyright holders and users, as well as adapting traditional legal structures to the realities of the digital economy.

- Abstract:
- The article is devoted to the study of legal conflicts arising in the context of judicial protection of exclusive rights to digital assets. The author analyses the peculiarities of qualification of such objects as cryptocurrencies, big data, 3D models and virtual game property, based on Russian and foreign judicial practice. The case of VKontakte v Double Data (2021) is considered, demonstrating the contradictions between the extraterritoriality of digital assets and the territoriality of jurisdictions. Particular attention is paid to the problem of distinguishing digital assets from intellectual property, as well as the dual status of virtual property. Finally, a classification of digital assets into three categories is proposed: protected intellectual property, virtual gaming property and crypto-assets. It emphasises the need to adapt legal norms to digital realities while maintaining a balance between innovation and protection of rights holders.

Vectors of socio-economic development in Russia. Modern challenges and opportunities- Author:
- Aleksandr I. Kugai
- Work direction:
- Глава 11
- Abstract:
- Historically, the metaphysical peculiarity of religion has not contributed to tolerance and recognition of religious human rights outside of one's own religious tradition. Each religion asserted its own uniqueness and superiority in understanding Salvation as a person overcoming the finiteness of being in time, and the ways to Salvation offered by it. Intolerance rather than tolerance, conformity rather than non-conformity, consent rather than dissent have been the dominant motives in the history of religions. The absolutization of each religious tradition served as a basis for intolerance towards other faiths. Therefore, it is natural that the recognition of religious freedom is stimulated not so much by the decisions of church councils, but rather by the activities of secular authorities who have formed a legislative framework guaranteeing its observance. At the same time, in today's debates about freedom of religion and conscience, one should not forget the fact that there are teachings on tolerance and condemnation of religious coercion and disrespect for religious views other than one 's own, which are found in the main world religions. This chapter demonstrates the positions of founders of the religious teachings of Ancient East, condemning the oppression of the religious rights of representatives of other faiths. It is important that the recognition of religious human rights be voiced not only by the instruments of national and international legislation, but also by the religions themselves.

The Topical Issues of the Humanities and Social Sciences: from Theory to Practice- Author:
- Anastasia S. Bolshakova
- Work direction:
- Тенденции развития цифрового образования
- Abstract:
- The process of digitalization sets the dynamics of the rapid deanthropologization of the world. Today's culture is the dictate of data, the dominance of fictitious identities. In cyberspace, everything becomes digital, including memory: the article addresses the topic of endless possibilities for storing and preserving digital traces of Internet users, which give digital memory the effect of eternity and destroy the natural cognitive ability to forget. The reflection focuses on the transformations that have taken place in the virtual ecosystem over the past decades (social networks promoting openness and proximity; the transition to Web 4.0; the growing volume of generated data open for identification; the development of neural networks) and the philosophical problem of forgetting. Eternal memory in the digital space “deads” a person and makes time elastic, two-phase. In this vein, the phenomenon of the RTBF is seen as an attempt to resist unlimited, indiscriminate digital memory.

Modern Challenges of Education and Psychology of Personality Formation- Author:
- Aleksandr I. Kugai
- Work direction:
- Глава 12
- Abstract:
- Dignity is something that virtually all people want. It is the original expression of the human experience, gaining credibility through the convergent demands of people around the world. Nevertheless, the concept of human dignity is in unhelpful disarray. Dignity is variously viewed as an antecedent, consequence, value, principle, and experience from philosophical, legal, pragmatic, psychological, behavioral, and cultural perspectives. Which of these conceptions of human dignity is more relevant to global, common interests, both as a point of convergence and as a diagnostic of policy, pedagogical practice? The author's focus is on four broad themes: dignity as 1) a metaphysical grounding of human rights and responsibilities, 2) virtuous behavior, 3) perspectives of the «other», and 4) the subjective experience of the individual. It is recommended that dignity be viewed as a set of individually valued well-being, shaped by relationships with others, influenced by the physical world, and framed in terms of values. From this perspective, the idea of dignity corresponds to the priorities of both individualistic and communitarian cultures.

- Abstract:
- The article is devoted to the study of the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, which had the greatest impact on the economic field, and, in particular, on the labor market. An analysis of the dynamics of the mode of operation in the pre-pandemic and pandemic periods is presented. The disadvantages of the remote format of work are indicated. The results of a survey of Russians on the further preferred mode of carrying out their labor duties are given. A comparative characteristic by age groups of choosing a place of labor activity is shown. It was revealed that the representatives of the «extreme» age categories – young people aged 18 to 24 years and people 60 years and older – were the most difficult to endure the pandemic and post-pandemic periods. The negative changes noted by the Russians themselves, including the loss of a job, and in connection with this a sharp drop in income levels, forced young people and people of retirement age to adapt to new labor market conditions through employment in the informal sector of the economy, in particular, by acquiring the status of self-employed, until recently illegal. However, despite the attempts of the state to give self-employment an official character, many citizens are in no hurry to register their activities, since the shortcomings in the «law on the self-employed» cause mistrust and, as a result, unwillingness to «come out of the shadows». One of these shortcomings, according to the authors, is the lack of a clear definition of the term «self-employed» enshrined in the legislative act, as well as the conditions for providing minimum social guarantees. As a result, even the self-employed do not have an accurate idea of this form of labor activity, not to mention ordinary Russians. The authors believe that the solution to the above problems can be various educational programs related to self-employment, both in the business environment and among ordinary citizens, fixing an exhaustive definition of the concept of «self-employed» at the legislative level, considering the conditions for providing self-employed citizens with social guarantees from the state. The conclusions made by the authors are based on the results of sociological surveys of Russians.
