Abstract

The purpose of the article is to consider the influence of the involvement of students of non-mathematical profiles in research activities in the field of mathematics on their motivation to study mathematical disciplines. Using theoretical and empirical methods, the hypothesis of students’ positive motivation formation in this way was tested. The inclusion of research tasks into the process of teaching mathematics is described. The results of the questionnaires are given, conclusions are drawn in the article.
