  • Cognitive component of attitude to energy saving in older preschool children and primary school children

    Abstract:
    The article presents the results of a study of the cognitive component of attitudes towards energy saving among older preschoolers and younger schoolchildren. The relevance of the study is due to the unworthy attention of the education system to the issue of developing an environmental, energy-saving attitude in children, given the obvious need to form a modern person focused on rational, energy-saving behavior. The article presents the results of an empirical study based on the author's methodology to study the content of the cognitive component of attitudes towards energy saving, and describes the types of motives for energy saving in children aged 5–10 years. The levels of formation of cognitive attitudes towards energy saving are identified and described. Children have an average level of formation of the cognitive component of the attitude to energy saving. Ideas about energy saving are unclear, vague. From senior preschool to junior school age, positive dynamics in the development of the cognitive component is observed. The dominant motive for energy saving is the motive of avoiding discomfort. With age, the content of ideas about energy saving is clarified and the energy saving motive itself begins to clearly stand out. With age, motives of personal benefit give way to motives of social significance. The formation of the cognitive component of the attitude to energy saving is influenced by the attitudes of adults, as well as the content of education. Mastering school subjects that cover environmental issues, as well as developing new forms of thinking in younger students, contributes to the development of a cognitive attitude towards energy conservation.

    The presented scientific article analyzes in detail and examines the key aspects and features of the formation of cognitive structures that play an important role in the process of personal cognition in primary school-age children, who, unfortunately, have certain difficulties in mental development and are considered mentally retarded. The author of the article pays special attention to how cognitive constructions influence the formation of personality and its ability to self-knowledge, as well as how these processes can be supported and stimulated in an educational environment to achieve the best results in the learning and development of such children. The article provides various examples and methods that can be used by teachers and psychologists to work effectively with this category of students, which makes it a valuable source of information for specialists involved in inclusive education and psychological assistance.

    Младший школьный возраст является сензитивным периодом для формирования социальных и познавательных навыков. Ведущей деятельностью в этом возрасте является учебная, в рамках которой дети осознают себя как части социума и формируют навыки самостоятельной организации учебной деятельности, целеполагания и критического мышления. В статье рассматривается развитие когнитивного компонента гражданской позиции младших школьников, включая знание государственной символики, истории и традиций своей страны. Представлены результаты исследования с использованием методики «С чего начинается Родина?», которое выявило высокие и средние уровни знаний у большинства детей, а также обозначило необходимость дополнительной работы с обучающимися, продемонстрировавшими низкий уровень сформированности когнитивного компонента.

  • The Continuous tence forms of the English language in the cognitive-semiotic aspect

    Abstract:
    The article offers a cognitive-semiotic analysis of English Continuous tense forms. The purpose of this study is to analyze the internal form of Continuous tenses which are considered as grammatical phraseological units. By describing the cognitive phraseosemantic modelling of ‘conceptual complexes’ through grammar means the authors endeavour to define and formulate basic cognitive-semiotic features of English Continuous tense forms. As a result it is concluded that the general cognitive model of the Continuous tenses actualises the discursive identity between the Actant-Subject and the Actant-predicate noun expressed by the gerund of the meaningful verb. This model expresses the semantics of a confined action developing in a limited spatio-temporal frame without a rigid attachment to the temporal markers of the beginning and end of the action. Different Continuous tenses show different positions of the observing subject in relation to the time of action, as well as modifications of the basic cognitive model of Continuous. For Present Continuous and Past Continuous, the specificity of their discourse syntagmatics is that the position of the observing subject differs. Future Continuous is characterised by a modified model of Actant-Subject and Actant- predicate noun identity, which develops an additional cognitive parameter. In this case the paradigmatic dependence of the predicate noun on the subject of an statement is observed. The paper also considers the cognitive model of the construction to be going to + infinitive as a special case of the cognitive model of Continuous.

    Abstract:
    Согласно требованиям Федерального государственного образовательного стандарта каждый ребенок с ограниченными возможностями здоровья в Российской Федерации имеет право на образование независимо от нозологической группы и тяжести нарушенного развития. В предстоящих младшему школьному возрасту периодах детства, т. е. младенческом, раннем и дошкольном возрасте, проявления когнитивных нарушений могут быть интерпретированы не в полном объеме, так как оба состояния имеют похожие проявления искаженного развития, и лишь в младшем школьном возрасте проявляется очевидное несоответствие актуального уровня, в том числе когнитивных навыков и социально-эмоционального развития, ребенка его возрасту. В статье проведен анализ характеристик особых образовательных потребностей детей с ограниченными возможностями здоровья и представлено сравнение интеллектуальных нарушений и задержки психического развития с целью более точной дифференциации обозначенных нозологических групп.

Подростковый возраст характеризуется нестабильностью эмоционального состояния, и влияние негативных факторов, таких как семейные конфликты, академические и социальные трудности, может способствовать усилению тревожности. Проблематика исследования охватывает необходимость разработки комплексного подхода к поддержке таких подростков для повышения их эмоциональной устойчивости. В ходе исследования проанализированы ключевые факторы, способствующие росту тревожности, и представлены методики снижения тревожности, включая когнитивно-поведенческую терапию, релаксационные техники и работу с установками. Обсуждается важность взаимодействия с семьей и окружением для создания поддерживающей среды, способствующей психологической адаптации подростков. Практическая значимость работы состоит в формулировке рекомендаций для психолого-педагогического сопровождения, ориентированных на улучшение психоэмоционального состояния подростков и профилактику тревожных расстройств.

    Abstract:
    Formation of human resources potential is an important task at the current stage of economic development of Russia. Digitalization of the economy gives rise to problems, including the risk of reduced employment stability (due to the fact that artificial intelligence replaces human resources and reduces the number of jobs) and the need to retrain specialists both within the region and their migration to areas with a shortage of labor resources. The difference between supply and demand in the labor market is explained by many factors. This may be a national problem – an excess of graduates in humanities and social sciences, which leads to a situation where candidates are forced to look for work unrelated to their education. Or these may be regional reasons. This problem can be reduced by the sphere of additional education, which allows retraining and developing the necessary competencies for applicants. Identification of the complex effect of the influence of various factors on the successful employment of citizens; is a time-consuming, complexly structured scientific task, for which it is proposed to use cognitive modeling. Based on the constructed model, scenarios for the development of labor resources are determined, taking into account regional peculiarities; assessment of the needs of the region in training and retraining of personnel. Their analysis and selection of the most promising scenarios from the standpoint of minimizing the costs of retraining citizens, as well as the constructed functional models of the procedure for selecting candidates among unemployed citizens for additional training (a model reflecting the current state of the research object and models reflecting possible scenarios for the development of the research object) can become the basis for developing a methodology for selecting candidates for additional training for a program that meets the needs of the citizen and the existing offers in the region.

    This research is devoted to the study of the problem of cognitive risks arising as a result of the digitalization of education, in general, and teaching a foreign language in a non-linguistic university, in particular. The research method used is a comparative analysis of approaches to teaching a foreign language using artificial intelligence and traditional methods of teaching a foreign language in a non-linguistic university. As a result of the study, the author comes to the conclusion about the need to combine traditional methods of teaching a foreign language with innovative methods using neural networks.
