- Abstract:
- Abstract: this paper presents the results of pedagogical testing of first-year students knowledge, which allows evaluating the theoretical preparation of the developed tests. The purpose of the study is to identify the level of knowledge of first-year students of the chosen elective discipline in physical culture and sports "volleyball". - Abstract:
- This article deals with the study and implementation of innovative technologies in sports education and health improvement of students, as one of the main objectives of the University curricula and programs development. The purpose of the article is to search for ways for improving the effectiveness of physical education, the formation of students' sustainable needs for physical activity through the application of non-traditional types of physical exercises and sports. During the study the following methods were applied: experiment and observation. The authors present new technologies (forms, means and methods) used in physical education classes. It is noted that they contribute to the acquisition of experience of creative practical activity, the development of physical qualities, increase of the capabilities of the functional systems of the body (cardiovascular, respiratory, immune). For effective increase of carrying out classes in system of physical culture and sports education, the scientific experiment for integration into practice was carried out. To solve problems in the classroom a specially designed set of exercises from different kinds of sports (stretching, step aerobics, crossfit) was used. In the experimental group, training sessions were conducted according to a specially formulated program, including elements of non-traditional kinds of sports, and in the control group – according to the standard curriculum. The results of the study show the effectiveness of the implementation of non-traditional types of physical exercises in the program on physical education, which have increased not only motivational, as well as physical qualities and the development of spiritual values for students’ health improving.

- Abstract:
- For maintenance of intellectual working capacity and maintaining health students can't cost without regular physical activity. It is confirmed by numerous researches. In this paper, such form of physical activity of students as self-sufficient physical training, which involves physical education and sports in free from study time and the goal of which is to maintain mental performance is represented. Physical training, carried out by the student independently, can include training in various sports: running, swimming, football, tennis, bicycle, skiing, hockey and many other sports.

- Abstract:
- When designing modern sports complexes for architects and designers, it is necessary to work out both the ideological and functional aspects of the project. To create comfortable conditions, to ensure the requirements of acoustics, noise insulation and thermal insulation of it from other rooms and the environment, the design of the sports complex's coverage becomes crucial. Bearing coating structures are the most important constructive element of sports facilities. To date, there have been developed sufficiently typical projects with frequently used spans from 18 to 36 m. Coatings with a span of more than 36 m are already considered atypical and are designed individually, based on conditions. Analyzing the existing sports facilities, it was found that a wide distribution as a covering of buildings of sports facilities with a span of up to 60 m was obtained by plane structures: arches, trusses, frames. In this paper, a comparative analysis of the plane structures of the cover for a span of 60 m in the LIRA-SAPR program complex: a truss with steel columns and a steel frame is carried out. All load sensing and effects on structures are specified in accordance with SP 20.13330.2016. The results obtained in the analysis of foreign and domestic experience in the design and construction of these structures can be used at various stages of designing large-span sports complexes.
