- The article deals with the basic principles of lending in relation to the market of educational services. The characteristic of the specific features of the principles of lending of the main and accompanying loans provided by commercial banks to borrowers for their studying in higher educational institutions is given. The directions of financing and support of students of various social groups from the state, including guarantees and subsidies are studied by the author. The system of contracts concluded at various stages of the credit process in the field of education is highlighted.
