    Abstract:
    The chapter discusses the mathematical apparatus of statistical analysis used in pedagogical research on physical culture and sports. A software solution for estimating the deviation of the empirical distribution of experimental data from the normal distribution based on the Scilab software package is presented. The technology in question implements the GOST R ISO 5479–2002 for checking the deviation of the probability distribution from the normal distribution based on the graphical method and using the criteria of moments: skewness and kurtosis. The paper presents the implementation of the results of computational experiments that solve the research goal.

    The relevance of the study lies in its practical focus on solving real management and financial problems that arise in the course of business activities of many trade organizations. After all, business analysis and optimization of the transport and logistics model is a critical issue that determines not only the success of the company, but also its long-term perspective on the market. In this study, the author set a goal to form, based on the studied theoretical sources and business analysis of the enterprise, recommendations for optimizing the transport and logistics model for AGROTORG LLC. A business analysis of the transport and logistics model of AGROTORG LLC was carried out, and measures were proposed to optimize the transport and logistics model. The object of the study is AGROTORG LLC. The subject of the study is the optimization of the transport and logistics model of the analyzed enterprise.

    Abstract:
    When developing and entering the market with innovation, the main task of the innovator company is to maximize the profit received. It is possible to assess the potential inherent in innovation using the indicator of the total market quasi- rent, which allows you to identify the company's opportunities to profit from the commercialization of innovation and methods to increase it. The chapter clarifies the concept of «quasi-rent», develops its composition and formation mechanism, gives recommendations for improving the company's innovative strategy based on the redistribution of the total market quasi-rent, and also proposes a system of indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of the company's innovative strategy based on quasi-rent.

    The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the current stage of development of the world economy is characterized by a deep structural adjustment, leading to increased differences between industrialized and developing countries. The need to analyze the processes taking place in the modern world economy, as well as the possible scenario of its development under the influence of the demographic factor, further confirms the relevance of this study. The study raises the problem of global economic security – the changing structure of the distribution of the world's population by country and region, the aging of the population in some states, and the formation of a young age structure and accelerated population growth in others.
