Abstract

The necessary set of different competencies of a teacher who is ready to become a mentor for a young colleague in the process of specific work with a category of gifted children is analyzed. Such a professional is able to offer assistance in improving theoretical and practical knowledge and mastering skills. This topic is also considered from a psychological point of view.
