Abstract
В статье анализируются факторы, обусловливающие развитие системы обучения иностранным языкам в непосредственной взаимосвязи с экранной культурой, способствующей мультипликации и диверсификации образовательных материалов и методов обучения. Уже сегодня информационные сети и гипертекстовые технологии претендуют (хоть и не всегда обоснованно) на роль авторитетных источников знаний о мире, в том числе об иностранных языках и зарубежных культурах. Нарастающее широкомасштабное использование интерактивных гипертекстовых технологий приводит к изменению моделей понимания и усвоения знаний, и развитие учебного процесса на основе гипертекстовых технологий заключается в изучении новых форм коммуникации, когда вместо текстов читаются гипертекст и контекст.
