Целью работы стала оценка влияния внедрения элементов метакогнитивного обучения в процесс преподавания английского языка для будущих юристов посредством сравнительного анализа уровня метакогнитивной осознанности студентов до начала обучения и по окончанию семестра. В статье представлены результаты эмпирического исследования, в котором приняли участие 30 студентов, разделенных поровну на две группы (контрольную и экспериментальную). Метакогнитивная осознанность обучающихся измерялась дважды: в начале эксперимента и на 14-й неделе с помощью разработанного автором опросника, включающего 15 вопросов, разделенных на три блока. В течение 14 недель студенты экспериментальной группы выполняли задания, направленные на развитие навыков планирования, мониторинга и самооценки. Результаты эксперимента показали улучшение уровня метакогнитивной осознанности студентов экспериментальной группы в среднем на 21,5%. Практическая значимость и новизна исследования заключаются в апробации метакогнитивных образовательных технологий на занятиях по английскому языку в сфере юриспруденции. Практические задания могут быть использованы для разработки образовательных программ и учебных материалов, ориентированных на формирование у студентов навыков самостоятельной работы с информацией, критического мышления и саморегуляции.</p> </abstract>      <trans-abstract xml:lang="en"> <p>metacognitive support in foreign language classes for law students is considered as a potentially effective pedagogical technology that fosters students’ ability to self-manage their learning process. The aim of this study was to assess the impact of introducing metacognitive elements into English lessons for law students through a comparative analysis of students’ level of metacognitive awareness before and after the experimental period. The article presents the results of an empirical study involving 30 students, equally divided into two groups (control and experimental). Students’ metacognitive awareness was measured twice: at the beginning and the end of the experiment by an author-developed questionnaire consisting of 15 questions in three blocks. Statistical processing of the results was performed in Excel. For 14 weeks, students in the experimental group completed tasks aimed at developing planning, monitoring, and self-evaluation skills. The results of the experiment showed an increase in the level of metacognitive awareness of students in the experimental group by an average of 21,5%. The practical significance and novelty of the study is in the validation of metacognitive educational technologies in the class of Legal English. The practical tasks can be used to design educational programmes and teaching materials aimed at developing students’ skills in independent information work, critical thinking, and self-regulation.</p> </trans-abstract>    <trans-abstract xml:lang="cv"> <p>Юрист специальноçне алла илекен студентсене тăван мар чĕлхене вĕрентнĕ чухне сăнаса-тĕрĕслесе тăнине малашлăхра студентсене хăйсен вĕренĕвне ăспа тĕрĕслесе тăрас ăсталăха аталантарма май паракан тухăçлă технологи тесе ăнлантарнă. Ĕçĕн тĕллевĕ пулас юристсене акăлчан чĕлхи вĕрентме метакогници мĕнле витĕм кӳнине вĕренӳ пуçламăшĕнче палăракан пĕлӳ шайне семестр вĕçĕнче кăтартнă шайпа танлаштарса хакласси пулса тăрать. Статьяра практикăра тунă тĕпчев результачĕсене илсе кăтартнă. Эксперимента 30 студент хутшăннă. Вĕсене икĕ пĕр тан ушкăна (тĕрĕслев тата эксперимент ушкăнĕсем) уйăрнă пулнă. Студентсем хăйсен вĕренĕвне ăша хурса витĕм кӳнине икĕ хутчен тĕрĕсленĕ: эксперимент пуçламăшĕнче тата вĕренĕвĕн 14-мĕш эрнинче. Тĕрĕслеме автор хатĕрленĕ 15 ыйтупа усă курнă. Вĕсем 3 пысăк пая пайланаççĕ. Эксперимент ушкăнĕнче вĕренекен студентсем 14 эрне хушшинче планлав, мониторинг тата харпăр хăйĕнпе çыхăннă хаклав ĕçĕсем тунă. Эксперимент результачĕсем тăрăх, ăс-хакăла йĕркелесе пырас шай эксперимент ушкăнĕн студенчĕсен 21,5 % таран ӳснĕ. Тĕпчевĕн практика пĕлтерĕшĕпе çĕнĕлĕхĕ юриспруденци студенчĕсен акăлчан чĕлхи занятийĕсенче ăс-тăн ĕçне кирлĕ пек улăштарма пулăшакан технологисене тĕрĕслесе пăхни пулчĕ.
