Abstract
The article describes data on the number of children with visual impairments in Russia at the moment. The technology for the implementation of sensory-tactile sets in the correction of speech of children with visual impairments, which was successfully tested on the basis of a children's preschool educational institution in the city of Tomsk, is presented.
